Hi my name is Marisa Stoll

I am a Licensed Massage Therapist, working in my profession since graduating from the Carlson College of Massage Therapy in 2013.  I currently provide therapeutic massage and body work services in my home studio in Iowa City, Iowa. My approach draws on a wide range of integrative therapeutic techniques:

 

This may include Trigger Point Therapy, Myofascial Release, basic strokes of Swedish massage, Deep Tissue manipulation, Neural Reset Therapy, stretching, heat, petrissage (a massage technique that involves kneading the body), hot stones, cupping, Cranial Sacral, and most recently, Reiki. I usually use a combination of these based on clients’ needs and what is perceived to be most beneficial. My approach includes customized sessions specific to each clients’ needs. 

Massage therapy helps reconnect us to our body. Many of us tend to tune out the bodily aches and pains while dealing with daily stress and work life. I have helped my clients alleviate their body aches, increase their range of motion, migraine relief, frozen shoulder, and plantar fasciitis issues. It is a privilege, being of service as a massage therapist. It is my intent to inspire and facilitate the healing wisdom of the body.
